The UC Locker Room Project at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch is partially funded and seeks additional support to complete the remodel of the outdated locker rooms in the Uihlein Center, a key facility on the Billings Ranch campus that supports year-round therapeutic programming for youth and families across Montana and beyond. The locker rooms, largely unchanged since the Center’s construction in the early 1970s, are worn and inefficient, with outdated fixtures, difficult-to-clean surfaces, and a layout that limits functionality. Renovations will include energy- and water-efficient fixtures, new flooring and partitions, upgraded lighting and ventilation, and a more functional layout that improves access to the pool deck and enhances the overall experience. Used by over 1,000 individuals annually, including youth in treatment, families, staff, and partners, the upgraded locker rooms will provide a clean, welcoming, and dignified space that reflects YBGR’s commitment to safety, care, and the well-being of the children it serves.
