Yellowstone Foundation awards five $5,000 grants each year to eligible nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with its mission and values. Funding may support a specific project or general operations and must be used within 12 months of the award date.
Yellowstone Foundation supports nonprofit organizations whose work meaningfully connects with one or more of the following areas:
Organizations do not need to replicate the exact programs of Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. Montana organizations receive priority, although mission-aligned organizations elsewhere in the Mountain West may also be considered.

The Grant Review Committee may contact applicants for clarification. All committee decisions are final.
Grant recipients must submit a brief final report explaining how the funding was used, the outcomes achieved, and any challenges or unexpected developments. The report should not exceed one page Organizations that do not submit the required report will be ineligible for the following grant cycle.
